Gearbox or Clutch Noise? Release Bearing?

Hi All,
After spending a rather large amount of money on our 2.0tdci C-Max doing various things including New front suspension, lower wishbones, bottom and top engine mount, the car is running a lot better but now that the top mount has been replaced (which i had to get from Germany!!) There is a constant grinding noise coming from the Gearbox area.
The Noise is only there when the car is idling in neutral without the clutch pressed in. If you rev the engine, the noise goes. If you press the clutch in, the noise goes. Any ideas what this could be? I am getting sick of getting work done on this car!!

Yea spoke to my mechanic man and he said its either DMF or bearings inside the gearbox. P*ssed off as according to the service paperwork I have the Clutch and DMF was replaced 30,000 miles ago!!! Think I will be leaving it!!! Anyone interested in taking this car off my hands???
I've done twice that mileage since I had new dmf fitted. My gearbox is whining too but managed to pick up one for ÂŁ100 so just waiting to have it fitted.
