Fuel temp sensor

Car engine management light came on today. Got my local garage to check, and the codes
Fuel temp circuit a intermittant and fuel temp circuit b intermittant came up. Car was running fine with lighf on, so the codes were reset in the hope it was a spurious reading. Unfortunately it came back on. I suspect its the fuel temp sensor itself, rather than wiring, but I have no idea where it us on the engine. Anyone any diagrams of the 2.0tdci engine fitted in the cmax?? Or know where its located.

Its on the fuel pump inside the tank. It will look like this.

Thanks. Sounds like a faff to get at the unit. Does anyone know if there is a workshop manual out for the 2010 cmax, or if I can get hold of a ford etis manual. Ford should supply these if asked not fussed on payment

Thanks. I thought the new cmax was 2010 onwards. Sorry for the confusion. Mine is a 2011 2.0 taxi titanium. Is the fuel temperature sensor still in the tank

Not sure about that but if its reading fuel temperature then I would think so but somebody else may know for sure.
