Hi,
When driving around town today, I noticed that the Instant MPG was noticably lower than normal. Usually in single figures when pulling away from junctions, etc, even when taking it easy. The car didn't feel right, but nothing too out of the ordinary.
There was no EML light on, but when I got home I checked to see if there was any DTC codes stored in the ECU and it came up with P1402 powertrain.
Using the link on this site to DTC codes, it came back with:
P1402 - Ford - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Metering Orifice Restricted.
Anyone got any ideas? Guess it's a trip to the garage.
The cars only done 32k miles.
