I recently sent my instrument cluster off for repair after a fault caused a break down and non-starter. It developed from an intermittent problem (causing limp mode) into this more serious problem (engine malfunction, fast flashing immobiliser light). It seemed to match the symptoms of the cluster needing re-soldering, so I sent it to ECU-testing. They found a fault and repaired the unit but unfortunately it hasn’t cured any of the symptoms.

The car is a 2008 1.8 diesel.
