Do VERY QUICKLY have a thorough check against the terms what services it means you have to have and what it excludes especially as "Wear and Tear"and do read all the posts about the problems and expense people have had with the CVT auto gearbox. These particularly were a source of problems and VERY expensive to fix as Fraud only did a complete change at about £3000

Just been reading and found the bit you need under the standard policy:

PartCoveredNot covered

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 summary="Table of what's covered with Standard cover" cellPadding=0 jQuery1245090610255="5">

<TD =left>Gearbox (manual and auto)
<TD =left>Manual and automatic internal gearbox components, electric governor, oil cooler, overdrive unit, transfer box and torque convertor
<TD ="left lastcol">All other components

The rest can be read here: http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/motoring/car-warranty-plan/policy-doc.jsp#sectionb

Remember that you will need a FULL service history and must be kept up to date to ensure that the warranty remains valid.

It's a good warranty for peace of mind but as with any of these policies, the small print is King!
