if one more person at sky cuts me off after been on hold for 10 mins i am going up to scotland
and im going to start smashing the place up!!!




seriously though has anyone got a good number or email addy to complain to??




i got introduced as a friend in october and was told i would recieve my £50 m&s vouchers shortly after.



cue numerous phonecalls to find out where they are to be told , oh
sorry sir can take up to 30days , then 60days the bl***dy 90 days!!! wtf



so i phone monday and get to speak to a helpful english person who has
the noggin to look a bit deeper into it to find out that they had used
my previous account number rather than my new one??



so she sorts it out and says that someone from sky will phone me withn
72 hours to let me know whats going on ,suprise suprise no one does.



so i phone up tonight and get passed from pillar to post try this
number sir blah chuffing blah and the last person cut me off after 10
mins so im none the wiser!!!!!



arrrgghhh



ive tried the various email addys and i dont get replys and the customer service is ****.



what can i do??

Hello steve do absolutely nothing until you have been with them for 1 year then really make them sweat with the " i`m going to bt " they`ll give you your vouchers and a reduced rate and if you lay it on thick a new sky box. Alternatively get onto trading standards or tell them you`ve been on to trading standards. Good Luck

Know where your coming from.
Sky has been losing the plot a while now and having had both Sky+ and Virgin Cable free box in the house, I have now quit Sky after so many years with them.

The on demand content from Virgin is very good, the V+ box is nice and easy to use and I have 20mb broadband as well.For what I now get, I am saving over £150 per year compared with the sub to Sky.
Of course I did have to through retentions to get the good offer

As to a working email for SKY
Are you set up fpr "my SKY"
If so then there is a section called feedback. You will finf a general enquiries e mail addy here that has worked OK for me in the past
Was SKY +any good

If you get any problems with them..... Always threaten to cancel your subscription and they will get you sorted out.

We have a problem with our SKY+ box, they told us it would be an £80 call out, asked them to put me through to the cancellations department, they then came out on a Saturday and did everything FREE.....

I can't even get V Media where I live either because the estate is too new...

We did exactly the same with our sky + box, they would rather have 50 quid a month than lose a subscription. They only replace the boxes with rerurb ones.

we have just had HD installed, ok admit picture is amazing but bit of a con as some channels that say they are HD are not, only certain programs, eg on sky 1, Movies and sports are great though !
