Hi all,
I have cmax 2011 1.6 ecoboost. The spark plug on cylinder 1 (far left of engine) becomes rusty over time. Its only this one and causes a misfire and rough running. Replacing it solves problem for about 5k miles but then have to replace it again. There is obviously water getting into the spark plug well from somewhere. Anybody had similar problem. I'm sure it isn't getting in from the top.

Had a look but cant see any evidence or possibility of that. My fear is a cracked cylinder head allowing coolant to seep through:oops:
