Hi everyone,

Well I thought I'd do a quick search as every other car seems to have its own forum so why not the C-Max.
and then I found you all.
Well I brought my 2.0l Ghia back in November 2006 and to be honest its so comfortable especially with the heated leather seats that were put in by the dealer.
Itis an ex-management car, So it came fully loaded with extras and saved me about £7,000 on list, even being only six months old

I also have an Escort RS2000 so I am going to look at making the C-Max handle, Go, Sop and Sound better than standard..... After all there aren't many modified C-Max's about so why not.

I'm thinking that if theengine and chassisare based on the Focus it should't be too hard to make a decent version as parts should be fairly easy to come across.

I'll let you all know what I decide to do and when it all starts.

welcome!

unfortunatelly, the number of changes that you can do is not that big. there are very few after-market parts for tuning, compared to the standard Focus. I thought about chaging the standard stop light with LEDs, but I was not able to find any after-market manufacturer for such things. the only option was to try to adapt sime LED stops from the new C-Max.

Thanks Smiley,
Iwas just hoping that as they class it as a FOCUS C-max some of the engine and suspension parts are thesame.

Cosmetically I like the look of it to be honest... I'd want it to be quite stealth and look standard until you plant your right foot down....

Steve,
Most likely.... The wife drives it as it is her car, but has my private plate on it. My kids both go to St Marks.
I really want to do bits and bobs to enhance what is already a good car, but its trying to convince her it will make it look and go better... After all she's no petrol head.

A nice set of 17" wheelsand uprating the suspension would be the first major thing after replacing the air filter with a K&N one.

Roy,

OMG

My eldest goes to St Marks as well (in year 1).
Doing shift works means either cars (other one being a Skoda Felicia, a basichome-station-home runabout)get the school run.

Since having the CMAx I have only "modded" the interior lights with white LEDS, so much brighter and alot better now. Oh and also 4 new Kumo's as well from Micheldever Tyres.
Could of done with my old beast these few days (Mitsubishi Delica) as the CMax as been "melting" rubber in the streets

Steve,
I have one in Year 4and my youngest in year 2.

95% of the time the C-Max does the school run.... but when I do it I'm inmy dark green Escort RS2000.You know when I arrive or leave because it has a performance exhaust and I sound like a 'boy racer' LOL.

I have to agree about the tyres etc. The wife has beenspinningher's upeverywhere and I now need to put newones the frontof it....
