When I stopped my car, the ignition lights would not go off. I could not re start the car. Having called out my breakdown service provider, he "tricked the imobiliser" as he put it, to start the car but told me I would have to stall it to stop it and them diconnect the battery.
Anybody any idea's as to what the fault is and how to fix it?

Thanks

I would have thought that the first place to start looking is the ignition switch itself as that is where the connection to the circuit that put that warning light on is

The warning light is connected between battery positive and the alternator output. When the voltage at both is the same the light goes out
