Very happy with the 2ltr auto 07 zetec but strange that using the non transmitter key you have to get it into the ignition very quickly to prevent the alarm going off.
Also on a relatively up market version the instrument panel has non dimming lights when driving at night, and no dimming switch to adjust things- or have i missed something!!
Thoughts please Bob W

If there is a dimming control it is adjacent to the main light swich and alongside the headlamp leveling control.

There is a concencus that the wiring may be behind the main light switch on all variant but that it is only those that have front fog lights that have the light swich that also has the instrument panel dimmer controls unless someone has dimming controls without front fogs

i also have the zetec and was suprised to find the missing dimmer switch! checked ford website and it seems only titanium versions are worthy of such a simple piece of tech.

Thanks Guys
No switch so thats it- but usually instrument lights dim automatically when main lights are actioned, must say the orange glow is a bit strong!!
Just changed from a 2005 Mercedes A class and have to say the Ford is streets ahead!!
