Wonder if anyone can help. I have just traded in my 55 plate for a 66 plate 1.5 diesel. I have got myself a next base dash cam, this equals a 12.5% insurance discount, and am going to hard wire it in, any ideas which is the best fuse to connect to please?

Yes I'm with swift and got 12.5% discount. I bet if you have a bump and can't supply the dash cam data they will use it as a reason to not pay out! That is why I want it hard wired in, so I can't forget it.

Dashcam Car Insurance Discount | swiftcover.com

it is 12.5% but only for new customers and states it must be a nextbase - however does not stipulate any model.

I would be wary that they state they would prefer it to be professionally installed but you can fit it yourself, sounds like a get out route ;)

I personally have a camera but not declaring it to insurance as it would be the one occassion it goes faulty, plus the discount amount wouldnt even cover the cost of the camera!!!
