I’m very confused with some things with my car and hope you can help. With my autism the manual is difficult for me to understand.
Does the tire space in the boot fit a space saver tire?
When you fold the backseats should they lock into place so they don’t accidentally fall?
how far should they fold head down before the locks engage?
what to do if they don’t?
what is those underfloor compartments in the back seats footwell?

Any answers would be amazing, thank you

The tyre space is for a space saver wheel to replace the Ford inflator device that's normally fitted in the wheel well. They are readily available on eBay for around £35 - 45.
There's some bungee cords in the back seat with hooks on that hook on to the front seat headrest supports.
The seat back folds flat onto the seat base and the latch should click into place.
If it doesn't click in then you might need to push down a bit more.
The underfloor compartments are exactly that - storage spaces so you can hide things out of sight.
