Hi all,
Looking for advice/next steps please.
I have a 2011, 1.6 CMax which keeps throwing faults on Bank 1 & Bank 2. The original fault was running too rich/lean/faulty oxygen sensors bank 1, so we replaced those. Car ran fine for a few months, then engine light came back with faulty oxygen sensors bank 2. So we replaced those sensors too.
When we replaced bank 2, the fuse blew so swapped that out.
About a week later we're getting bank 1 & bank 2 running too lean error & not sure what to do next.
Each time before the light comes on, we can feel it struggle to set off from a standing position, and we have to really rev it to get moving

So, I decided to swap the MAF, whilst no MAF codes were coming up, I did find another site which gave MAF problems. These included the running too rich/lean & hesitation.
So far, all has been good (touch wood) & hopefully this saga is over!

Well, P0172 is back. Both banks running too rich. There is a smell of fuel when running & fuel economy drops. Checked the air filter (replaced Feb), mechanic at a loss.
Any suggestions on what I can try next?
