Hi.
I'm hoping you can help me please.
I'm currently looking to buy a "new to me" car, and one of the cars I'm interested in is a 2018 (68) Ford Grand C-MAX - 1.0 EcoBoost 125 Zetec 5dr
It's in immaculate condition inside and out, but there's something not right about the sliding doors.
On the driver side, when the sliding door is fully opened, I can see it catch and remain opened. I can see what looks like a connector and a small metal brake wire that you might see on a bike.
On the passenger side, there's a catch but it doesn't seem to engage and so the door begins to slide shut. I noticed that this side doesn't have the same connection or metal wire.
My question is simple, should both sliding doors have this mechanism?
Thanks in advance.
Geoff.
