Happy New Year everyone.
I'm looking at changing the cam belt and water pump on my 2.0 TDCi and I see two timing pins are required. They look like relatively ordinary pieces of bar - is it easy to make your own? If so, does anyone know what diameters they are?
Cheers.

If you look online you can use a drill (6mm I think) for the cam and an 8mm bonnet stay for the flywheel. I have also seen that some people do it without locking the flywheel.
