Hi chaps, just joined after googling for a recent fault on a 54 C Max TDCi, i believe the forum has answered my query already but wanted to say thanks rather than just scuttling off and fixing it.

It's the boot switch issue that's just made itself known to me by continuously opening/unlocking the boot whilst the car is in use. I found my own way of stopping it for the mean time which was to lock the car doors from the switch on the drivers door, this seems to cut power to the boot release switch, however it's tedious remembering to do it for what now seems a small job. Going to look at it tomorrow. Thanks again.

Thanks for the welcome, i didn't get chance to remove the switch today, however i pulled away the top of the boot trim enough to see the supply wire from the loom to the switch, undid the conveniently placed connector and the switch is now isolated, however the fob remote still opens it so it's not as urgent a matter as it was now! Looking forward to using the forum.
Rob.
