2010 Ford C-Max
We all enjoy the feeling of freedom and the thrill of limitless possibilities. It's the moment when you realise there's nothing to stop you from seeing more and doing more. That’s what the new Ford C-MAX and new 7-seat Grand C-MAX can give you, because these two multi-activity vehicles redefine versatility. Plus, they're ultra-practical, offer class-beating driving dynamics and make contemporary style part of every detail.
Introducing the refined and practical new Ford C-MAX The new 5-seat C-MAX has very similar exterior dimensions to the current model, keeping the roominess, comfort and practicality within its completely re-defined Ford kinetic Design shape. Sportier, more streamlined and coupé-like, the sweeping roofline also helps with aerodynamics and contributes to improved fuel efficiency figures for the new C-MAX.
Interior style that mirrors the exterior flair
The C-MAX cockpit gives a commanding driving position, while Ford kinetic Design has also shaped the finishes, textures and layout to ensure the dynamic exterior is reflected in the style of the cabin. It's also extremely practical with carefully designed stowage, including generous front door pockets, a large glove box, cupholders front and rear and a roof-mounted overhead console in selected models.
Power-operated tailgate
Convenience and style combine with the large tailgate, power-operated so it securely shuts first time and every time for added peace of mind. You'll also appreciate the low loading height for heavy or awkward items. Intelligently designed, you can programme the opening angle of the tailgate, so it avoids obstacles such as the garage ceiling. For protection, the system has two anti-pinch sensors that will detect any obstruction between tailgate and body when closing. It will automatically cease to close and then safely release.
Full-length panorama roof The new C-MAX features a one-piece panorama roof to give the whole family a greater sense of freedom, luxury and space. Power-operated sun blinds let you effortlessly control the amount of light that floods in from overhead or give you more privacy, when required. Dark tinted to avoid glare, the panorama roof also has a standard 'Solar Reflect' coating to help maintain constant temperature inside the cabin.
Get the flexibility of five seats – or four, if you prefer The new C-MAX seating arrangement is based on the popular concept from the previous model, with three individual 40/20/40 folding seats in the second row. Ford's ingenious Comfort Seat System creates a more luxurious 2+2 layout. And when you're transporting large items or just need more loadspace, the second row seats fold independently and effortlessly.
